EDUCATION

TWC offers a comprehensive, four session Family Education Group (FEG) that educates and supports family members to better understand addiction. The sessions are a source of knowledge, support and connection for family members.

COMMUNITY RESOURCES

Strategic partnerships with public and private service providers help our residents and their families stay connected to supports that aid in healing and recovery maintenance.

BC WOMEN'S HOSPITAL + HEALTH CENTRE

The Families in Recovery (FIR) Program is a specialized service for women with substance misuse issues and their families: FIR Square is a Combined Care Unit that provides care to women using substances and infants exposed to these substances. Together We Can has partnered with the FIR program to provide on-site group counselling, cultural healing, and treatment services to partners wanting to begin their journey to recovery.

Facilitating Changes, a trusted partner of Together We Can, works with clients before, during, and after treatment to ensure a full continuum of care. Offering addiction counselling, sober coaching and case management, they integrate the recovery journey into the client's everyday life to ensure a successful recovery.

POWER FORWARD FOUNDATION

Founded by Kevin Stevens, two-time Stanley Cup champion, Power Forward Foundation works year-round to raise awareness of addiction issues, educate youth on the dangers of substance abuse, provide outreach to families struggling with addiction, and building a strong community of beneficial relationships. With TWC, Power Forward Foundation hopes to share the message that recovery is possible and help support the families and children that have been impacted by a loved one's addiction.

West Coast Interventions

With over 12 years of experience, West Coast Interventions is one of Canada's most effective and trusted addiction service providers. They have experience and supporting professional relationships that can guide our clients through the Law Courts process and help manage some of your legal consequences.
