Together We Can has served the Vancouver community since 1993. We offer a safe and inclusive space for recovery, healing, and rebuilding. Our doors are open to people of all backgrounds, and we’re committed to treating everyone with respect, compassion, and dignity.

What We Do
Together We Can is one of Canada's most trusted nonprofit organizations for addiction recovery and education. We are the largest bed-based not-for-profit addiction treatment provider in Canada
We provide:
Housing
Safe, supportive sober living environments
Family
Family services for parents & loved ones, and alumni services
Addiction Treatment
Structured residential and outpatient treatment
Community outreach and education

We support people at all stages of recovery, and we welcome families, friends, and loved ones who are seeking help too.
Is This for Me or My Loved One?
Addiction can affect anyone — a parent, a sibling, a friend, or yourself. It doesn't mean you're weak, broken, or beyond help.
If you're worried about substance use and don’t know where to turn, you’re not alone. Whether you're struggling yourself or looking for support for someone close to you, Together We Can can help. You don’t have to wait for a crisis. Asking questions is a sign of strength.
How We Help
We combine experience, education, and peer support to help people recover and thrive. Our services include:
- Counselling (individual and group)
- Safe and stable housing
- Access to medical detox partners
- Employment and education planning
- Long-term recovery planning
- Workshops for families and loved ones
Our programs are structured to meet people where they are — whether they’re just beginning or ready for the next chapter - and take them where they want to be.
Language Access and Support
Our programs are provided in English. We understand that language can be a barrier for some members of the community, and we are committed to making our services as accessible as possible.
Whenever we can, we will:
- Provide translated information or materials
- Upon request, arrange interpretation during intake or key meetings
- Host community sessions in multiple languages
